At AfriTea Link, we provide reliable, export-grade Rooibos tailored to the needs of global buyers. All products are sourced from certified producers in South Africa and delivered according to your required specifications.

Certifications & Quality Assurance

Our rooibos is exclusively sourced and processed in certified South African facilities, ensuring high quality, authenticity, and compliance with international market standards.

• Organic Certified (Ecocert | USDA NOP | EU Organic)

• Food Safety Certified (FSSC 22000)

• Fair Trade Compliant

• Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) – grown exclusively in the Cederberg region

• Halal & Kosher Certified – via SA Tea

• Bio-Suisse / JAS / European-equivalence organic certification – available upon request via TopQualiTea

• COA (Certificate of Analysis) & full traceability reports provided per batch

Certification documents are available upon request.

Product Specifications

Cut Sizes Available:

• Super Grade, Organic Grade, Cut & Sifted (C&S), Teabag Cut (Fine Cut), Rooibos Dust (on request)

Moisture Levels:

• Standard: 7–10%

• Custom moisture levels available

Packaging Options:

• Fully customizable bag sizes to match your supply chain needs. Bag sizes from 5 kg and 10 kg, up to bulk volumes

• Paper / Kraft bags

• Multi-layer export-ready packaging

• Private-label options available upon request

Packaging configuration is confirmed prior to production.

Container Loading Options

We offer flexible shipping solutions to support both trial and bulk orders.

• 20 ft container – approx. 6–7 tons of Rooibos

• 40 ft container – approx. 12–14 tons of Rooibos

• Container loading can be configured for:

  • Bulk or customized packaging

  • Different bag sizes

  • Specific buyer requirements

    Mixed or split shipments can be arranged to accommodate multiple buyers or smaller initial volumes, subject to logistics feasibility.

Order Requirements

To process your order efficiently, please share:

• Required grade(s)

• Expected volume (per shipment or monthly)

• Destination country and port

• Preferred Incoterms (e.g. FOB, CIF)

• Packaging preference (bag type and weight)

• Which certification documents are required

Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ)

Bulk Rooibos

• Starting MOQ: 500 kg (ideal for sampling or first-time orders)

• Standard commercial orders: 1–5 metric tons

• Long-term or contract supply: 10+ metric tons

We support both trial shipments and repeat bulk orders, with the ability to structure supply for long-term partnerships.

Private Label Rooibos

• Starting MOQ: 3,000–5,000 retail units

• Equivalent to approximately 300–500 kg, depending on format and packaging

Private label orders are offered selectively and confirmed after packaging, labeling, and compliance requirements are agreed.
